Esras Films is an award-winning producer of factual TV (national and international awards), providing documentary series and single productions for Irish and international broadcasters. Our catalogue of successful productions embraces a range of subject matter – history and heritage, development and social issues, education, science, the arts, agriculture, faith, and the Irish abroad. We have particular experience in producing international current affairs and reports addressing the challenges of the developing world, having filmed in over 50 countries. In addition, our experience in bringing fresh film and photographic archives to the screen has ensured compelling historical documentary narratives.

 

 

Our extensive experience in TV production has sparked collaborative work as an Associate/Consulting Producer with international feature and feature documentary projects. Our practical experience with Film Archive involves management and restoration workflows as well as knowledge of international film archive sources. We have been involved with numerous high-profile awards schemes – providing consultancy, media production and event management. We have also been invited to judge national and internationals media awards. Esras Films is an active member of several professional bodies. Our producers have written for industry and related publications, and been invited speakers at international conferences and seminars on topics such as Human Rights, globalisation trends and diaspora studies.
